Your visit, stage by stage

From first hello to follow-up

Every plan is different, and most care spans more than one visit. These are the stages patients usually move through with us.

  1. Stage 1: The Welcome.

    Settle into a memory foam or back-massaging chair with a pillow and blanket. Bose noise-cancelling headphones and ceiling-mounted TVs are there if you want them, and nitrous oxide is available if you feel anxious.

  2. Stage 2: The Exam.

    We review your medical history and check the health of your gums, looking for recession, inflammation or infection. Digital X-rays are used only as needed to see areas the eye cannot.

  3. Stage 3: The Plan.

    For treatment like implants, 3D imaging and digital scanning help map a plan to your situation. We explain your options so you can make an informed decision about your own care.

  4. Stage 4: The Care.

    Treatment is done with local anesthesia as needed. Some care, like whitening or a same-day crown, takes one visit; veneers take a few, and aligners or implants unfold over months.

  5. Stage 5: The Follow-Up.

    Most patients benefit from a professional cleaning every six months. If you have a history of gum inflammation, a three to four month schedule may suit you better.
