Delwin R. Hemingway, DDS

Delwin R. Hemingway, DDS has the expertise and experience to give his patients the level of comfort, appearance enhancement, and health they desire. He has been able to transform more than smiles; patients often leave with a remarkable boost in self-confidence. His expertise in neuromuscular dentistry offers patients relief from years of headaches and other pain associated with bite (occlusion) and jaw tension problems. Dr. Hemingway believes that listening to his patients’ desires and expectations is a critical part of providing exceptional care, and he is dedicated to serving you with unique, individualized dentistry.

Dr. Hemingway received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 1975. He went on to study dentistry at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1979. He is a member of several professional organizations and associations, including:

Practicing since 1979, Dr. Hemingway stays on the leading edge of modern dentistry with ongoing course studies, such as advanced training for esthetic dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. He has also completed post-graduate studies in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants, sedation, lasers, orthodontics, and endodontics.

Knowing from experience that you only get what you work for, Dr. Hemingway is dedicated to the community. He has served at La Joya School Site Council for the Santa Rita School District, as an Explorer Post Advisor, and as a Boy Scout leader for Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Hemingway enjoys teaching. He teaches the Family Relations course for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Dr. Hemingway and his wife Janice are the proud parents of eight children and the grandparents of twenty-one grandchildren. Each of their children are successful in their own careers, including emergency physician, dentist, lawyer, high school teacher, internet marketing director, small business owners, and property managers. He enjoys gardening, carpentry, construction, and landscape design. During the summer of 2013, he built a tree house with a 180-foot-long zip-line with three of his sons and five of his grandsons.

Sarah C. Frahm, DDS

Dr. Sarah Frahm understands the importance of looking and feeling your best. She knows it’s a privilege to be in a position to help people do just that. Dr. Frahm prides herself upon getting to know her patients as individuals and listening to their unique needs. She is a compassionate person who strives to develop and maintain a strong professional connection with her patients.

Dr. Frahm graduated from Cornell College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Business. There she was a varsity softball standout twice awarded Most Valuable Player and elected to Academic All Conference. Dr. Frahm received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2003 where she was the proud recipient of the Edward H. Karl Award for the senior demonstrating the most significant professional and academic growth.

Dr. Frahm believes lifelong learning is crucial to providing her patients the highest level of care and comfort. She has taken post-graduate courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. She endeavors to be a Fellow of the Las Vegas Institute and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Frahm is a committed member of the community. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Salinas where she was recognized with a “Distinguished Rotarian” award in 2015. She is also on the IMPOWER executive committee and a member of the Robert Down PTA.

Dr. Frahm is originally from Iowa and lived in Taiwan for five years which allowed her to travel through Asia extensively. She attended high school in Montana. She is married to a fellow Cornell College graduate who is a civilian attorney for the Defense Language Institute in Monterey. They have three young children. She and her family love to travel, hike and explore national parks. She also enjoys yoga and embroidery.
