Dr. Hemingway has the expertise and experience to give his patients the level of comfort, appearance enhancement and health they desire. He has been able to transform more than smiles, often patients leave with a remarkable boost in self-confidence. His expertise in neuromuscular dentistry offers patients
relief from years of headaches and other pain associated with bite (occlusion) and jaw tension problems.

Practicing Since 1979, Dr. Hemingway stays on the leading edge of modern dentistry with ongoing course studies, such as advanced training for esthetic dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. He has also completed post-graduate studies in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants, sedation, lasers, orthodontics and endodontics.

Dr. Hemingway received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah in 1975. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1979 from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois.

Knowing from experience that you only get what you work for, Dr. Hemingway is dedicated to the community. He has served at La Joya School Site Council for the Santa Rita School District, as an Explorer Post Advisor, and as a Boy Scout leader for Boy Scouts of America.

Dr. Hemingway enjoys teaching. He teaches the Family Relations course for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He and his wife Janice are the proud parents of 8 children. He enjoys gardening, landscape design and traveling with his wife, children and grandchildren.

His wife Janice is an artist who has had her work exhibited in various studios in Salinas and Carmel. She is also an expert in the application of artistic permanent make-up.
